2013 Stan Parker Memorial Race (National BMW Race) and BMW Club ENDURO III
Please join us for the 2013 Genesse Valley BMW CCA Stan Parker Memorial Race! This is the National Points Race Weekend that would normally be held in conjunction with O'Fest. Instead, it is being held at Watkins Glen International.
We are also hosting the third race and final race in the BMW Club ENDURO series.
Stan was one of the original BMW Club Racers, a Comp Steward, and one of the founding members of GVC BMW CCA.
There will be plenty of track time with a full schedule for the weekend.
Friday Practice Day is mandatory for rookies and/or racers new to Watkins Glen International. Later in the day we will host the third and last race in the new ENDURO series for BMW Club Racers. PRACTICE DAYS IS A MUST FOR ROOKIES. PRACTICE DAY PARTICIPATION WILL BE CAPPED AT 90 CARS BASED ON REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT DATE.
There will be two Sprint Races on Saturday. These will be National Points Races. A Party will be held Saturday evening.
We also expect to run a fun/qualifying race on Sunday morning in which fast laps from the fun race will set the grid Sunday Sprint.
The feature Stan Parker Race will be the first Sprint on Saturday.
The cost for Friday Practice Day for the Stan Parker Racers is $125.00.
The cost for the Saturday and Sunday Events is $460.00.
The cost for the Friday Enduro III Practice and Race is $425.00
Payment must be made through this site. We will accept checks at the track, but we will not accept cash payments this year.
Camping is available at the track beginning Thursday night, September 19, 2012 beginning at 6:00 PM.

Accommodations
The host hotel is the famous Seneca Lodge (http://www.senecalodge.com/), located at the upper entrance to Watkins Glen State Park off NY 329. The Lodge is famous for its food and racing heritage. The bar is notable for its collection of over 60 years of racing memorabliia. Another favorite place to stay very close to the track is the Falls Motel in nearby Montour Falls. http://www.thefallsmotel.com. These places fill quickly, so make reservations early.
Many other types of lodging can be found in Watkins Glen, from cozy bed-and-breakfasts (http://www.bbonline.com/ny/watkins+glen.html) to the luxurious Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel (http://www.watkinsglenharborhotel.com/). Camping is available at Watkins Glen State Park (http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/142/details.aspx) and at many other private campgrounds.
Camping
Because of the Club Race, camping is free at the track for this school. Electrical hookup (for a small fee) is available by special arrangement with WGI. The track is locked after 11 PM and there is security on-site. Many other off-track campsites are available in the area, including Watkins Glen State Park, which has one of the most scenic gorges in the Finger Lakes.
Event requirements
IMPORTANT Your registration for this event is a two-step process.
1. First, you need to register and PAY at this site.
2. Next, you must register at www.bmwccaclubracing.com to be officially accepted.
NOTE: Friday is required for all rookies and first timers to Watkins Glen International.
Remember that we will be checking your club racing license, and your BMW Club registration cards to see if they are current. Please bring these documents to the registration desk in Garage Bay 19 with you.
