The Signs of Spring Road Rally School
The Arctic Alaska Region of the Sports Car Club of America will be sanctioning the 2013 Road Rally Summer Series, presented by RPM Alaska. The season will start off with this The Signs of Spring Road Rally School on Thursday evening, May 9th. School fees are $15 per person—yet you will be given a credit on www.alaskascca.motorsportreg.com, our official registration site, to be used against one of our 2013 Summer Series Road Rally events!
To refresh seasoned Rallyists and to give those new to the sport a review of the Road Rally Generals, we are holding this Road Rally School in Anchorage on Thursday, May 9th, for the summer season of rallies. This will give students time to absorb the rules of the game before our first Road Rally of the season on Saturday, May 11th! The school will start at 630P and cover the basics of Road Rallying. Come to the annual The Signs of Spring Road Rally School and use the credit towards your Signs of Spring Road Rally entry fee on Saturday, May 11th, or Peeking at Pioneer Peak on Sunday, June 8th, or Hittin' the Highway for Hounds and Hairballs on Sunday, July 14th, or our Shift 'n Shinola Road Rally on Saturday evening, August 3rd!
Don't have a dedicated Road Rally partner? No worries—we encourage everyone to attend the school and get those rally basics down! Who knows — Register up, Come to the School, and you just may find a Rally partner!
Event requirements
REGISTRATION and ENTRY FEES
We encourage all of you planning to enter this event to register here via www.alaskascca.motorsportreg.com. As the School is classroom, there is no need to register as a Driver or Navigator for the School. You will receive a short rally to run after the class so your team can practice with real Route Instructions!
For our rally series, one of your team will need to register the vehicle and their position on the team (Driver or Navigator) and the other will need to register their position on the team and personal information only. The entry fee for the 2013 Alaska Road Rally Championship is $20 per team member (Driver or Navigator) with a $5 for those holding a Membership with our sanctioning body, the Sports Car Club of America!
