First annual Carrera Region run to the “Mountain Gods”
April 27th and 28th, 2013
Hello there...
Do you remember the flyer you received earlier? I am sure you do since you made your way to this website and are interesetd in our first annual run to the "Mountain Gods"... in Ruidoso New Mexico.
Getting there is half the fun. So, why not make it a whole weekend of fun with old and new friends in beautiful Ruidoso and the famous “Inn of the Mountain Gods” Resort and Casino April 27th, 2013
Depart Starbucks (Lowes parking lot at the corner of Trans-mountain and US-54) at 12:00 PM
Meet the folks joining from Alamogordo at the Texaco gas-station next to Lowes on US-54 close to the intersection with US-82 leading to Cloudcroft at 1:30 PM Stopover in Cloudcroft for a quick town tour and fill-up if necessary. Heading to the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort thereafter via NM 244 with an estimated arrival of4:00 PM
Spend some time on your own, enjoy the fresh mountain air or explore the town of Ruidoso and its many unique shopping opportunities
Join us at the “Inn of the Mountain Gods” for cocktails at Wendell's Lounge at around 7:00 PM and dinner thereafter.

We are planning to head back to El Paso via a stop over and drive through “White Sands” National Monument .
Departure will be at the Ruidoso Mountain Inn (conveniently located on U.S. 70) at around10:00 AM in an effort to reach White Sands by
Noon. From there, we will make our way home on our own time and as you desire.
Please make sure to register for this event prior to 04-22-13 at We will ask for a non-refundable administrative fee of $25.00 per vehicle in attendance and a few answers to
questions pertaining to your participation plans during this event.
(late registration on the day of the event will be a $40.00 fee per vehicle)
Please note, you will be responsible for the cost of your own accommodations, as well as food and drink expenditures
