Join the Badger Bimmers for a drivers’ education event at Road America near Elkhart Lake, Wi. This year's event is again sponsored by WeatherTech.
All students and instructors get four 25 minute on-track sessions per day on Saturday and Sunday. There will be thirteen 25 to 40 minute sessions on Friday for advanced students and instructors only.
There will also be an instructor clinic on Friday. The clinic is limited to 10 participants. If you are interested in attending the instructor clinic send a write-up describing your driving experience along with reference information (typically your chapter's cheif instructor) to us. We'll review your experience and contact your reference. If you are accepted into the clinic we'll send you the code that is required to registration.
If you have questions about the event email or call Mike Clemens (email@example.com or call 262-242-4173).
All participants at our DE events must be members of the BMW CCA. It's not necessary that you be member of the Badger Bimmer chapter but BMW CCA membership is required. You can sign-up for a membership on our event registration page. We are offering reduced cost memberships ($30 instead of $48) through our registration page. We will submit your information and a payment of $48 to BMW CCA to establish your membership. The memberships offered through our registration page are available only to those that are not currently members. They are not available for renewing members.
If you need to renew your club membership you can call the national headquarters at 800-878-9292. When you renew be sure to ask for your membership number, you'll need it to complete your registration. You can also join the club by visiting the national BMW CCA web site.
You can pay for the event using a credit or debit card or with an electronic check. Payment is required at the time of registration.
Kummrow Automotive (located on Bender Road in Glendale) will be doing free car inspections on Saturday, September 13th. Appointments are required - call (414) 352-2886 to schedule your appointment.
Blocks of rooms at good rates are available at the Osthoff (855-876-3399) in Elkhart Lake and at the Baymont (920-893-6781) in Plymouth. Ask for the Badger Bimmer rate at the Osthoff ($149 for a one bedroom) or the Badger BMW rate at the Baymont ($98).
Many automobile insurance policies now exclude coverage for events that take place on a race track. The only way to know if your policy still covers driving schools is to read your policy. If you find that your policy does not cover our driving schools you can purchase event insurance from Lockton Affinity Motorsports. BMW CCA members get a discount on the purchase of both single and multiple event driving school insurance.
