PBOC NATIONAL, LLC. PRESENTS.....BASE CAMP GOES RACING SEBRING SEPTEMBER 15-17, 2023
PBOC BASE CAMP GOES RACING and Drivers Education at historic Sebring Raceway. This is a three-day event on the 12hour road course complete with Saturday evening reception.
OPEN TRACK DAY FRIDAY TEST AND TUNE:
On Friday we are offering an open track day for all Solo qualified drivers including Instructors, Solo and Super Solo® qualified individuals, and/or Racers. There are no set times for run groups and you can use as much track time as you want. This is an opportunity to do testing and tuning on your car and improve your skills on the track. There is no HPDE for students. The format for the day is open passing with point by.
Price for Friday is $649
DRIVERS EDUCATION VENUES:
... SOLO - SUPER SOLO® DRIVERS
A one-day entry for Saturday or Sunday is $435. Solo entry for two days is Sat/Sun is $750.
...INSTRUCTORS….
A one-day entry for Saturday or Sunday is $100. Two-day Instructor entry for Sat/Sun is $140. Instructors can add Friday lapping (F/S/S) for $625.
...SUPER SOLO®
The Super Solo® run group is available at this event. Please register for the applicable Solo or Instructor package and we will assign you to the Super Solo® group once you are approved.
...DRIVERS EDUCATION
Drivers Education for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Students is available on Saturday-Sunday, both days are $650. Novice students will have classroom instruction drive on the track Saturday and Sunday. A one-day entry fee for either Saturday or Sunday is $435.
...CONVERTIBLES:
BMW Z3 with fixed rollover protection, the Z4 and Porsche Boxster and the Mini Cooper are ok. ALL OTHERS must call for approval. If you run with the top down, you MUST use arm restraints. No SUVs.
…HELMETS: Only Snell approved 2015 or 2020 helmets are allowed. No 2005 or 2010 Helmets please. If you have a spare helmet we can borrow for the Kids, please bring it.
…BASE CAMP GOES RACING:
For over TWENTY years PBOC has sponsored a charity event for children with cancer. This year we are again partnering with BASE CAMP Children’s Cancer Foundation, located in Winter Park Florida. Base Camp, A 501c3 organization, has been serving children with cancer and hematology illness and their families since 1982. To learn more about them go to their website at www.basecamp.org
We will be giving the kids, many of whom have been ill with cancer, and their siblings and family members’ rides on the track in race cars and street cars. We have set aside time Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to noon for these rides. If you want to give rides in your high-performance streetcar, or your race car with passenger seat, we will have a sign-up sheet at the event. Only Instructors and Qualified Solo drivers can give rides.
We need donations for the expenses for lodging, transporting, and feeding the Children and their families for the event. A $500 donation can sponsor a family of four for the event. This includes hotel for one night, transportation and meals. We are limiting this event to 25 families. If you can sponsor one or more families, please do so.
