About this event
VARA's Oktoberfest kicks off the second half of the 2013 racing season.
Vintage Auto Racing Association invites you to attend the annual Oktoberfest racing event and BBQ dinner at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, celebrating the vintage race cars of the German marque. Featured events include the 'All-German' production car race and the Vintage Formula Vee Festival Races sponsored by Victory Lane magazine. It's also the final points race of the T.A.B.S. 2.5 West Series Challenge.
Of course, we'll have all VARA regular run groups. Track configuration will be 25 Clockwise using the full back straight (no bus stop), Magic Mountain and all-the-way-down to the Mazda hairpin corner.
Saturday night's dinner features German sausages, sides, wine and cheese and the all-important keg of beer (which you can enjoy in the complimentary VARA beer stein giveaway). Each entry receives two tickets to the dinner.
The entry fee for this event is $325 for VARA members, with separate Friday practice available through the track. The track collects $10 weekend gate fee for each person entering.
