The Sports Car Club of Rockford (SCCR) presents the Double Dose Challenge a High-Speed HPDE and Autocross day on Monday, July 3rd.
Come to the track for this event and get a "Double Dose" of excitement. This is the cure for anyone wanting to get more excitement out of the July 4th weekend.
The morning will consist of three 15-minute sessions.You can register as an HPDE entrant to run just the morning practice sessions or choose to compete all day by signing up for the Autocross competition.
The morning sessions serve as practice for all High Speed Autocross (HSAX) entrants. An entry into the Autocross competition gets you 45 minutes of practice track time plus timed runs in the afternoon.
There will be three HPDE/AX Practice Groups: 1) Novice/Beginner * 2) Intermediate 3) Advanced/Comp Drivers
*Instructors will be available for beginner group drivers and a Novice Meeting will be held for first time participants.
The entire afternoon will consist of High Speed Autocross timed runs. As a special bonus for spending your holiday Monday with us, the Autocross competition will award DOUBLE POINTS towards the 2017 Midwestern Council (MCSCC, MC) Championship Series. This is a very important event to attend for anyone looking to compete for a season championship.

Entry Fees:
$160.00 HSAX entry for MC members
$170.00 HSAX entry fee for non-MC members
$50.00 HSAX additional entry for same car (same driver 2nd class, or different driver)
$100.00 HPDE entry fee for MC Members
$120.00 HPDE entry fee for non-MC members
Event requirements
All Autocross entries for this event receive the 3 sessions of practice in the morning. That's 45 minutes of track time before lunch!!
Snell 2010 or later helmets are required to participate in an MC High Speed Autocross.
Open-top cars require a roll bar and minimum four-point safety harness.

When you pre-register online, you will go to a screen where a valid charge card must be entered. This is required by MSR, not by the club, and is kept in a fully encrypted form. YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE RACE, AND THEN ONLY UPON YOUR SPECIFIC REQUEST. Mail-in entries are also accepted: download the entry packet for full information and a mail-in form.
