Miata Mayhem '23

Attention Southwest Motorsport racers and track workers!

The biggest sports car race in New Mexico, Miata Mayhem '23! The excitement is once again building for our next SWMS race event at Suika Circuit (previously Sandia Speedway)! Join us for Miata Mayhem on Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th. This 2-day event features a full slate of all racing divisions including:

• Contemporary Racing
• Vintage Racing
• Spec Miata Racing
• Open Wheel Racing
• Karting Racing
• Legends Racing
• High Performance Driving (HPDE Non-Competitive Lapping)
• Note: Some classes may be combined due to car count

-Special pre-weekend Friday practice is being arranged, pending final approvals from the track management. 

-Special rules and allowances for Spec Miata tires are being reviewed, see updates from SWMS prior to the race weekend. All contingency race sessions shall be Falken RT660. 

Plan for the driver's meeting to be held at 8:30AM both Saturday and Sunday with workers and drivers to the track shortly after.

SWMS is offering the following education programs at this event. For information related to our school offerings, contact Steve Marino (steve@smarino.us).

• Competition Licensing School (CLS) Last Licensing School will be September 2023
