Welcome to the registration page for Mercedes-Benz participants of the Legends of the Autobahn – Canada, Concours and Driving Event, June 15-16, 2013.
All Mercedes-Benz cars are invited to be part of the Canadian Historic Grand Prix weekend at the newly renovated Mosport race track. Upon entry of the Mosport grounds, owners are cordially requested to park in the Legends of the Autobahn Corral were they will be greeted with a complementary gift bag. Now they have the option of having their car on simple corral type display or to compete for one of the 3 Class awards by having it expertly judged by MBCA judges in the Saturday Concours (Corral parking is open both Saturday and Sunday).
While Mercedes-Benz of all ages and models are welcome to enter, this year MBCA will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Pagoda and 600 models and will feature them in a special display. In addition to the Concours awards, there will be a "Best of Show", "People's Choice" and other special awards.
The attraction of a car show that combines the major German car brands is evident in the soaring success of the Concours of the same name held now for three years during the Monterey Historic Car Week. However, holding just a car show is not enough for our Canadian Edition of Legends of the Autobahn. We go a step further by offering participants various additional attractions and driving events during the weekend. There is first of all the opportunity to watch the racing activities that take place during the Canadian Historic Gran Prix now in its 34th year, with historic race cars from over 6 decades competing in various classes over the course of the weekend. Next is the option to partake in a scenic navigational road rally through the surroundings of the Durham Region on Saturday morning and to enter the Concours and Corral upon return. Sunday owners will have the chance to experience the famous Grand Prix track in the Parade and finally, drivers can immerse themselves to the fullest by taking their machines on some “Hot” Touring Laps – fast but safe. Helmets are not required and passengers are allowed. What other car show gives you the opportunity to take your automobile on a race track?
General admittance to the Canadian Historic Grand Prix is required, but participant of the Legends of the Autobahn will get a significant discount. The admittance is $20/car/day - payable at the gate. This gives full visitor access to the Canadian Historic Grand Prix for all passengers (regular admittance is $35/person/weekend).
On this page you will be able to register your Mercedes-Benz automobile to any one or more of available events:
