K1 Speed Buffalo Grove

The SCCA Chicago Region PDX team decided we needed to have some fun, so we’ve scheduled a track night at K1 Speed indoor karting track in Addison  Buffalo Grove. The event starts at 6p.m. on Saturday, March 29. The cost is $44, paid at the door, for which you get one 14 lap qualifying session and one 16 lap race.

 

This event is open to any SCCA Solo or PDX participant (and friends and guests). After qualifying, everyone will be divided into race groups according to qualifying time so that you will be competing against others at your skill level. Family and friends are welcome. Food and beverage are available for purchase. (Need we say – participants may not consume alcohol until they are done racing.)

 

Space will be limited initially to 40 racers, so sign up early to ensure you get a spot. Registration closes March 28th to allow us to finalize arrangements with the track. Here is a link to sign up. You will pay K1 at the door.
