Welcome to the Peachtree Section, Mercedes Benz Club of America July Mountain Drive to Paradise!

This event is free and open to members and non-members alike. Mercedes-Benz cars are preferred but all are welcome. If you are a non-member you will have an opportunity to join the club.
Please join us for our July Mountain Drive. This will be a drive to Paradise Hills Winery and Spa (366 Paradise Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512) The Winery has a bistro now. So you will be able to order appetizers or a meal. There will be live music and a tremendous view onto the vineyard.
We will begin our day at DC MotorWerks (640 James Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004) for breakfast compliments of our sponsors Cameron Davis and Andy Sumner. We will try an experiment with this drive. Our more enthusiastic drivers will have a longer run that begins early. Please arrive by 8:30am I as we want to begin driving at 9:30 to beat some of the traffic.
Our rally point will be the Chevron Station at the top of 400. From here we will drive past Dahlonega up to the stone pile, where we will take a right on 19 towards Helen. We will follow 19 past Vogel State Park where we will have two options.
For our faster drivers, we will continue on 180 until we go right on Russell Scenic Highway towards Helen, and then back north on 17 until we go left on 180 again past Brasstown Bald. This is a large winding circle that will bring us back to Rt 19. Here we go right (north) and follow until we get to Paradise Road. Right on Paradise Road up to the Winery. (This route is approximately 2 hours from the Chevron.)
For our slower drivers, we will keep going past Vogel and stay on 19 until we reach Paradise Road and our destination. (Approximately 1 hr 10 minutes from the Chevron.)
Both groups should arrive at Paradise Hills around 11am. This will give us some time to park and talk before going in to the tasting room and ordering food.
This is the end of our drive. I am sure some of us will group up for the ride back south.
