WHEN: July 15-16th, 2023 (9am-6pm)
D1 / D2 / D3 / D4 all welcome
ABOUT EXCITEGP TEAM BATTLE:
ExciteGP Team Battle is style focused grassroots drift event put on by iTrack Motorsports. These events are designed to give drivers maximum seat time while including a fun and friendly competition. The majority of the weekend will be sent drifting with friends and teams from around the southeast and beyond. On Saturday afternoon, we will stop to have a Team Battle competition. Teams will go out to make as many laps as they can in the allowed time. 3 teams will be selected to battle, giving each team 2 laps. The winner will take home the Team Battle trophy for the next year! Once this is complete we will go back to drifting!
No driver is required to compete in the competition or be apart of a team! You can just sign up and drive, even if you do not have a team!!
Event requirements
Classes
- D1: Expert - This class is for drivers with many years of experience running tandem and have a fully developed car. Drivers in this class are capable of door-to-door tandems with all cars without issue.
- D2: Advanced - This class is for drivers with many years of experience. Drivers is this class are capable of door-to-door tandems with little to no issues.
- D3: Intermediate - This class is for drivers who are comfortable with drifting solo and are working on tandem with other drivers. Drivers in this class are capable of linking a track without spinning and driving a set line.
- D4: Novice - This class is for beginner drivers. Still learning the basic skills. Working on linking the track consistently.
ExciteGP Team Battle
- Teams can be drivers of any skill level
- All teams must have a minimum of 3 drivers
- A maximum of 6 cars per team
- All cars must complete both runs on the finals
