About this event
Welcome to races 7 & 8 of the IKF Region 7 Championship Series hosted by Willow Springs Kart Club on the Kart Track at Willow Springs International Raceway. If you are registering today through June 19th follow the prompts as you complete your entry but please DO NOT make payment through Motorsports Reg. You can register here, and make payment at the track using cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. We will still receive the data we need to process your pre entry, just make payment at the track when you sign in.
The Willow Springs Kart Club has added a Pro Leopard Sr. Race on Saturday and a purse on the Spec PRD Sr., Spec PRD Jr.2, and Spec PRD Jr.1 classes on Sunday. Details on the cash and prizes that will be awarded can be found at www.ikfkarting-r7.com.
Racers may enter the Pro Leopard race on Saturday or the Pro PRD race on Sunday for $100 each day (membership required). If you wish to race both Sr. Pro races, select the Combo Pro race entry for $195 and receive a discount, Spec oil, and free Single Event membership valued at $45. Racers who enter in any of the Spec PRD classes for both days will automatically be eligible for cash and prizes on Sunday, as well as points and regular awards both days. Racers entering Pro races on Sunday only must present used tires to tech for approval. New tires may only be used on Saturday.
At this event we will continue the IKF Skip Barber Challenge for kart racers who would like to advance to auto racing. This is the second of three event weekends where drivers in the PRD Sr. and PRD Jr. 2 classes can qualify to win Skip Barber Driving School and Karting Shootout Scholarships.
If you haven't raced with us yet this year, we have a new race format. All of our race weekends are double header races, our championship race classes will run both Saturdays and Sundays with all points counting towards a single championship for each class. Trophies and points will be awarded both days. We will be instituting a new tire rule to save you money. The same tires must be used on both race days each weekend for qualifying, heat races, and main events. This year each of our class champions will be awarded a custom driving suit. Event requirements
You must be an IKF member in order to race the series. If you are not a member you can join now. Single event memberships are available for drivers who wish to only race this single event. At this event, IKF Region 7 will cover the cost of the single event membership for drivers racing both days. Click here to find IKF forms. Note: New memberships for drivers under the age of 18 require a birth certificate and notarized minor's release.
You must enter your IKF number and expiration date in your motorsports registration profile. Incomplete registrations will not be fully processed and will result in a longer wait time signing in at the event.
We will be using a reserved number pool for each class. Numbers may be selected on a first come basis.

KT100 engines are allowed to be run in the KPV classes at a reduced weight. Refer to the IKF website for details
Pro Leopard Sr. Race $$$ will be Saturday. Racers competing in both Pro Leopard Sr. Race $$$ and Pro PRD Sr. Race $$$ should choose the entry option that includes both races.
