IIRA Presents: Ice Track Day
This is an HPDE/Track Day event, held on the IIRA Ice Track. You will get 5 sessions throughout the day.
All events are subject to ice and weather conditions. YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED FOR THE EVENT AFTER IT HAS HAPPENED, so you will not pay when you register. Your credit card on file will charged on the Monday after the event takes place.
Location is still to be determined. All venues will be within about a 1.5-hour drive from the Twin Cities. This event will be updated as soon as the location is confirmed.
Common locations are:
- Madison Lake (near Mankato, MN)
- Pokegama Lake (near Pine City, MN)
- East Rush Lake (near Rush City, MN)
- North Center Lake (near Lindstrom, MN)
All cars/trucks/SUVs are welcome, subject to some safety equipment and tech inspection.
Schedule: (Schedule may vary based on attendance)
8:00 AM: Registration and tech opens
9:00 AM: Driver's meeting
9:30 AM: On track warm up
10:00 AM: Driving sessions begin
12 Noon: Lunch
4:00 PM: Event ends
Event requirements
Basic requirements:
- All driver's must hold an IIRA license
- Driver must hold a valid driver's license
- Car requires front and rear tow points. Stock is fine, just make sure you find and can install them before tech inspection

- Car needs to pass a basic tech inspection
Helmets:
- 2010+ SNELL rated helmet or newer
Tires:
- No 5/16" bolted IceCross tires allowed (Wisconsin studded)
- All rubber/winter/all season tires are allowed
- Studded tires with less than 7mm total exposure into the ice are allowed. This means Minnesota studded IceCross tires, IIRA wheel to wheel studs, and street studded tires are allowed. Contact Matt Dryden at 651-353-4573 if you have questions
