Rally Quest is a whimsical, mobile scavenger hunt in the Parker, Franktown, and Castle Rock area being held on Saturday, May 14 that will make you feel like a kid again. It promises lots of fun and includes mystery routes, zany games, puzzles to solve, door prizes, and fabulous awards for the rally winners! Rally Quest is a non-timed course that will take about 90 minutes and cover approximately 75 miles of scenic Douglas County roads. Perfect for two participants, an early afternoon of Porsche-themed hilarity awaits if you are quick enough to be one of the first 40 pairs of RMR-PCA members to sign up!
All participants must register on motorsportsreg.com - you cannot show up and pay to participate at the event. The Rally Quest Spring 2016 Gimmick Rally costs $30 PER PERSON ($60 per vehicle with two occupants) and all proceeds go to charity (International Hearing Dogs). All participants must arrive NLT 10:45 for the mandatory driver's meeting and you'll get to meet one of the well-trained hearing dogs and its handler! It is requested (and you'll score bonus points) if you are driving a Porsche in the rally, but if the weather is just not cooperating, you can bring a vehicle that is not from Stuttgart. Please ensure your car has a full tank of gas before arriving.
The adventure starts at Wine Country Motor Sports in Englewood (14 Inverness Dr. E #138) just after the Breakfast Club gathering two miles away at The Perfect Landing restaurant and the Cars & Coffee event four miles away at the Vehicle Vault in Parker. Rally participants will be launched in groups of four - going four different directions - every four minutes. With a maximum of 40 pairs of participants, all cars should be out by 12:00 noon. It ends at The Rock Wood-Fired Kitchen in Parker where winners will be announced and a private lunch awaits (meals are not included). The first set of cars should be arriving at the finish around 12:45PM, the last set of cars around 2:00PM at the latest. The event in its entirety will be over about an hour after the last cars arrive at the finish.
Rally Quest costs $30 per person and all proceeds go to charity (paid with your registration here on motorsportsreg). Please note: this is a fundraiser - PLEASE bring extra cash as there will be a donation jar, extra door prize tickets being sold, and some awesome items up for sale with proceeds going directly to International Hearing Dogs. Our goal is to net at least $1500 for the charity, please help us reach our goal!
