About this event
Gibbs Gardens
On Saturday, April 23, 2016 we will gather at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot (gates open at 10:00 a.m.) for a tour of Gibbs Garden located in Ball Ground, GA (1987 Gibbs Drive, Ball Ground, GA 30107). This will be an unguided walking tour of the gardens. Beginning in March and continuing to mid-April, over 20 million daffodils (all belong to the genus Narcissus) bloom at Gibbs Gardens. There are over 100 varieties including early, mid and late blooming selections. Later in the month look for flowering cherries and early dogwood blossoms.
Each member will be issued an admittance wristband with a second wristband with a different color to ride the tram that is available if you choose. Wear your MBCA name tags. Cost for this tour will be $17.00 per person. After our tour of the gardens we will gather at The Arbor Café on the premises for lunch. Their menu can be found here: www.gibbsgardens.com/visit/arbor-cafe-menu
