About this event
The purpose of this registration is to get a list of people that would be interested in attending the ARRC, the first weekend in November for an FV ONLY RACE. We have been offered another opportunity to race without having to spend MOST of our track time glued to our mirrors. If we can get 30 cars, we can get our own qualifying and feature race on Sunday. The regular ARRC races will also be available, but will likely include other classes - at least F5 and FF, but our feature would be JUST FV. This would be sort of a East Coast National Championship for FV .. mostly for those that aren't planing to trek out to California, but everyone is invited.
This will be sanctioned by SCCA, therefore SCCA GCR compliance and current annual tech is required as well as a current membership and Full competition License (no Novice Permits). Medical insurance will be provided through the normal SCCA Club Racing program, so it will work just as it does in all other SCCA Club Race events.
I have a short time to give an indication of how many would come, so please jump in there if you'd like to do this event .. however, I would like only those that are SERIOUSLY INTERESTED since it would look very bad on us to get 40 'interested' and then have only 15 actually show up.
I have participated in 2 of these events this year and can hardly describe how much MORE FUN it is racing with ONLY FV's. The FUN is BACK and the danger is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. If you like to RACE and not just DODGE, please consider this event. At this time, there are 25 FV signed up for Laguna - I think we can beat that number for the ARRC.
