Schedule:

PLAN FOR SKI TRAFFIC AND WEATHER!!

  • 7:00am – 9:00am: Course setup followed by quick meeting for instructors and volunteers at Georgetown Lake

  • 9:00am - 9:30am – Instructor drive time and Student Check-in at Georgetown Lake

  • 9:45am - Mandatory driver's meeting

  • 10:00am - 1:00pm - Ice Driving

  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm – Course tear down and cone Pick up

  • 1:30pm Optional Group Lunch

    • Optional lunch is free for volunteers if selected. It is a set menu, includes a soda/non-alcoholic drink, and your choice of:

      • Burger (beef or vegan patty) with fries or salad

      • Grilled romaine with chicken or shrimp

      • Bistro chicken sandwich with fries or salad

      • Spicy Jackalope sausage with fries or salad

 

Volunteer: Instructor

Limit: 6

Description: Please only select this option if you have agreed to instruct for this event. All instructors will assist in course set up. Optional lunch will be provided for free by the club if selected with registration.  If you are a registered driver, there won't be time to also instruct.

 

Volunteer: Starter

Limit: 2

Description: Start participants on exercises to maintain safe spacing between cars on course. Optional lunch will be provided for free by the club if selected with registration.  If you are a registered driver, there won't be time to also volunteer

Volunteer: Course setup and maintenance

Limit: 2

Description: Lead course setup, and maintain cones throughout the day. Optional lunch will be provided for free by the club if selected with registration.  If you are a registered driver, there won't be time to also volunteer.

 

Volunteer: Check-in and Shore relations

Limit: 2

Description: Check-in participants. Greet visitors, explain what we're doing, and keep them off the ice for safety. Optional lunch will be provided for free by the club if selected with registration.  If you are a registered driver, there won't be time to also volunteer

 

Event photographer

Limit 1

Description:   High quality, DSLR or mirrorless level quality. Please reach out to event chair if you've never photographed an RMR event. Lunch will be provided for free by the club if selected with registration. if you are a registered driver, there won't be time to also volunteer.
