Concours in the Park

Edwin Warner Park, Picnic Area #11

About this event

On Saturday, June 15, join members of Musik Stadt Region in Nashville, TN to honor 50 years of the Type 911 at Edwin Warner Park on the Little Harpeth River. The “Concours in the Park” is open to all Porsches from 356 to 991, including Boxsters, Caymans, Panameras, Cayannes, and race/modified/outlaw cars, regardless of year. The Concours will emphasize fit, finish, and level of owner maintenance, but participants need not worry about missed specks of grease when preparing their car. The exterior, interior, storage compartment, and engine will be judged. Winning cars will be those best maintained in a “like new” condition with each car’s age and usage being taken into consideration.

Entries will be grouped into 12 classes with class winners, People’s and Judge’s Choice Awards, and a special award for the 911 judged “exceptional” by Porsche of Nashville. As a special incentive for class winners, well-known automobile photographer, Bruce Sweetman will photograph your car and prepare a print suitable for framing. He will also be available to photograph other Porsches for a nominal fee.

The Concours opens at 9:00 a.m. Judging begins at 11:00 a.m. Awards will be presented at 1:00 p.m. The entry fee is $20 and pre-registration is encouraged. For more information, contact Kent Kersten at webmaster.mskpca@gmail.com or visit our website at www.musikstadtpca.org.
