Dear CKRC member:
As our track construction project begins to ramp up, we are looking forward to the exciting marketing opportunities that await us. This will help us to secure funding to build more this year (perhaps a paved paddock), repay our generous angel investors quicker and secure alternate revenue streams to help ease the burden on our membership. In order to accomplish this, we need everyone's help.
We are a small but passionate club but to the marketing world, we are small. We need to grow these numbers and our marketing team has come up with a unique way to accomplish this with relatively no or little cost to everyone. Karting is a family sport and should remain that way, however, builidng and operating the type of facility we all dream of will take infusion of corporate dollars. In return, it will take our club membership, family, friends and businesses to use the products and services that our marketing partners are offering. Yes, it is the "win-win" proposition.
There are two programs we are looking to build in order to demonstrate the return on investment to our potential marketing partners. The first is less obvious but has much more potential - BTB or Business to Business. There are deals done every day by our members that most of us have no idea of; deals that are worth thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars that are closed without much fanfare and hype. We need to capture this type of business activity within our club in the hopes of getting some major corporations excited and wanting to be a part of our club's BTB community.
The second part of the program is targetting the retail sector. This is more obvious and with the reach our members have into their companies and networks, we can show a much broader and deeper base. This outreach is how we plan on turning our membership base of 139 into 13,900 and larger! The larger we can show ourselves to be, the larger the value impact statement we can make to these potential marketing partners.
We want long term investment from our marketing partners that they can realize significant returns. This will stabilize our alternative revenue sources, which in turn lowers our membership costs, subsidizes our operating expenditures and provides capital funding to projects such as a new scoring tower, paved and powered paddock stalls and anything else that makes this the premier karting facility in Canada.
In order to do this, we need your help. We are asking everyone to answer the following questions so that we can start compiling statistics for our marketing drive. Please respond as soon as possible as we are looking to start our drive with the announcement of our new track location (coming very soon).
