About this event
Welcome to the first BMW CCA LA Chapter/ Beverly Hills BMW autocross of the 2011 season. We are excited to offer this unique and fun autocross at the Streets of Willow in Rosamond, California. This is a great event for novice and experienced racers alike. Today will be a test and tune day designed to allow you lots of seat time and plenty of opportunity to refine your driving skills. It is not a competition day and no trophies or final results will be offered. It is going to be a fun time!
Unlike other track events, because this is an autocross convertibles WILL BE allowed. However please keep the following in mind:
THIS IS NOT A TRACK DAY!!! THE EVENT IS AN AUTOCROSS AND YOU WILL RUN ONE LAP AT A TIME. IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A TRACK EVENT, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN-UP UNLESS YOU WANT TO ATTEND AN AUTOCROSS STYLE EVENT HELD ON THE TRACK.
Registration is $65 if you pay in advance and $75 (cash only) if you register at the event. Your entry fee includes instruction, lunch and waters. Extra lunches are $10 each, and helmet rentals are $10.
The gates open at 6:00. Registration and tech open at 7:00. There will be a mandatory driver's meeting at 8:30. First car out will be at 9:00. The event will end by 5:00 or dusk.
This event WILL sell out so please pre-register. We don't want to turn people away but we will in order to ensure everybody gets as many runs as possible. As such we will be severly limiting the number of students. We recommend that you not wait until the last minute to register. Due to the short time until the event there will by NO REFUNDS AND NO CREDITS toward future events.
