“Fear Not You Can’t Get Lost” Rally (and Social)

 

            First off, you won’t get lost because you will know where the finish will be.  Second, you will be given a map to use.  If you can’t read a map, just join us at the finish for a German luncheon among friends.

            Save the date, it’s on Saturday May 16.  The rally will begin at the Garden of the Gods visitor center café.  About 2-2 1/2 hrs. later, we will meet again at the Edelweiss restaurant to enjoy beer, food and see who will receive a trophy. The rules are simple:  Just go to where certain map gridlines intersect (for example 4G) and look for answers to questions (again, as an example:  What is red with a white top?)

            You will be provided with 10 grid intersections to go to and 10 questions to answer.  The answers will be found within 50 meters (approximately) from the grid intersection.  You will not know which of the 10 questions can be answered at a particular intersection.  You can go to each of the intersections in any order—it is up to you to find the shortest overall distance to get to all 10 and then to the Edelweiss.

 

 

            Scores will be based on number of correct answers AND the lowest total mileage driven to all the intersections.

            The cost is $25 per car.

            Be at the café not later than 0930 to get a map and sign the waiver.
