We are extraordinarily pleased this year to have Andrew Davis leading this popular event. Andrew is a seasoned driver for Brumos Porsche Racing Team. When not competing in ALMS races, Andrew also instructs for the Porsche Driving Experience Driving Schools, as well as for the PCA. This promises to be a “must attend” event!

Here are the important logistics:

The session will start promptly a 1:30 PM (meaning you should arrive by 1:15 PM! —but not earlier, there are other events going on). The event is FREE, and no advance reservations are required except for lunch (see below).

A hot buffet lunch with Andrew will be served at 12:30 PM ONLY FOR THOSE WITH ADVANCE RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS. Cost is $25/person. All lunch registration is on-line at http://nnjr-pca.motorsportreg.com/

NNJR’s annual Instructor Seminar will take place starting at 9 AM,
facilitated by Andrew. The seminar is  BY INVITATION ONLY, but instructors must PRE-REGISTER for lunch, as above, if they plan to stay for lunch.

This seminar will be led by NNJR Chief Instructors and will be highly Interactive. Please send ideas, questions and suggestions to Bill Gilbert at gilbert4@rcn.com or 908-647-5920.

Stable Energies will attend with a variety of helmets, driving gloves, safety devices, etc. If you need an SA2010 helmet or a new communicator, this will be an opportunity to look at options.

Andrew Davis

Having grown up at the racetrack, Andrew developed a passion for everything pertaining to auto racing. His in-depth knowledge of the sport along with an unquestionable desire for success has allowed Andrew to thrive as both an instructor and a race car driver. Starting in SCCA club racing, he captured two Sports 2000 championships in his first two years of competition. Next, he made the jump to open-wheel cars earning a points championship in Formula Continental. Andrew then moved into the professional ranks of auto racing by competing in the United States Formula Ford 2000 Championship. In 2001, he set his sights on sports car racing, capturing a podium finish in his first ALMS race at the 2001 Petit Le Mans. Over the last decade, Andrew has proven to be a very versatile driver by competing in Prototypes and GT Cars in the Rolex Grand-Am Series and the American Le Mans Series. The team was the Rolex GT Champion in 2011, and they scored a podium finish at last year’s 50th Anniversary Rolex 24 Hour race.

Andrew and fellow Brumos Porsche driver and racing legend Hurley Haywood also both serve as instructors for the Porsche Sport Driving School.
