Join the Houston Region SCCA for The Abominable. We will be running both clockwise and counter-clockwise for your driving enjoyment. This event will be a double regional as well as a PDX for street cars. PDX or Performance Driving Experience is the perfect opportunity for drivers new to Club Racing to put their street cars and mildly prepped racecars on the track during this exciting race weekend.

Cost Breakdown:
One-Day Regional: $225
Two-Day Regional: $400
Second Regional Entry per day- $125
One-Day PDX: $75
Two-Day PDX: $150

Saturday, December 8, 2012- CLOCKWISE
6:30 a.m. Track gate opens
7:00 a.m. - Noon Registration opens to all registrants in Houston Region building.
7:15 a.m. F & C Meeting at control building
7:30 a.m. - Lunch Tech opens in the garage next to registration. Scales open at 10:30 a.m., pending qualifying impound.
NOTE: When possible Houston Region strives for “seamless” qualifying sessions with the race groups. After the checkered flag and the last car of the first Group exits the track, the staged Group will be released. Clean up will be after the every other Group. Any stranded cars from the initial Group will be covered by the appropriate flag(s) for the following session

8:00 am 15-min Seamless Qualifying A Groups 1-5
9:35 am 20-min Group 6 PDX

12:00 pm Lunch Break
12:45 pm 30-min or 15-lap Regional Races for Groups 1-5
4:30 pm 20-min Group 6 PDX
Trophies will be handed out post-race at the impound trophy presentation.
5:00 p.m. RACE PARTY: Everyone is invited to join us at the Clubhouse for good food and cold drinks after the final race.
