Warmer weather? Well, 'tis the season for our GWS Summer Picnic, Mercedes-Benz Concours, and Marketplace! We are invited back to Steve Newby's home in North Potomac, MD for this annual event. So bring your car stuff to sell or trade! Of course, bring your car: this is a judged show by MBCA rules, as well as an informal display of members' cars!

Online, advance registrations for this event help us determine how much food to order and how many cars to expect for the show.
As in years past, a delicious lunch will be catered by Big Mook's BBQ, and the bar will be open, as we provide great food and other goodies. Along with the food, we provide cold beverages (sodas, water, and beer) as well as a selection of wines. Do you want to see a terrific selection of fine Mercedes-Benz automobiles? Well, this is the event to attend! Is your garage a little overflowing with car stuff? Bring it to sell or trade at the GWS Marketplace! Music fans rejoice: The Split2nd Band will return to entertain us throughout the day with classic and contemporary hits!
Event requirements
Choose to register for the picnic, and if you would like to show your car and have it judged in the GWS Summer Concours.
Of course, if you have extra stuff you want to sell or trade, then the Marketplace is just the place to do that!
The lunch cost is $30 per person to attend the picnic.
Mercedes-Benz Concours Entry is $40 for the first car (includes one picnic lunch), and you can register an additional Mercedes-Benz for $10.
Marketplace space is $15.
