WICHITA REGION SCCA
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
ALL REGISTRATION IS NOW ONLINE - NO WALK UP ENTRIES!
NOTE PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! If we have less than thirty registered drivers Thursday night before the solo at 8:00 pm before the event we may cancel the solo. We need thirty drivers to cover all the work assignments safely. If we cancel we will make sure to keep pre-registered participants notified by email through MotorsportReg as well as post updates to our Facebook event pages.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE DONE ONLINE AT COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION.
***MSR profile address and zip code MUST match credit card address and zip code or payment will fail.***
SCCA Members = $30.00 for each day (plus a $2 MSR payment fee)
Non-SCCA Member = $50.00 for each day (plus a $2 MSR payment fee)
Autocross emphasizes safe competition and no drifting will be tolerated.
ANY Unsafe or Unsportsmanlike Conduct will not be tolerated and drivers or spectators will be asked to leave.
CANCELATION POLICY:
You may cancel your registration at any time before 6:00pm the night before the event and your credit card will be issued a 100% refund. To cancel, return to the MSR Dashboard to Edit Registration and select "cancel".
If you "no show" and do not cancel your registration you may not receive the full refund.

REGISTRATION:
Sign SCCA Liability Paper Waiver at registration or have your Annual Waiver Card. Save time get your card digitally at SCCA Annual Waiver Form. Check your heat and work assignment.
MINORS:
Children between 12-17 that participate as a driver or passenger ride along MUST fill out a digital Minor Waiver prior to the event and be signed by all legal parents or guardians! Click here to go to the SCCA Minor Waiver website.
I'm bringing my kids to the event to watch, do I need a Minor Waiver on file for them? No, Minors as spectators do not need to have a Minor Waiver Form completed. Minors who do not have a Minor Waiver on file will have restricted access at events. No Minors or Adult Spectators in grid area!
TECH INSPECTION:
Park your car, empty all loose items, have your number and class on both sides of the car. Painter’s tape is available at the trailer in multiple colors. Don’t know your class? See below!
Drive to designated TECH area, and stay with your car; you may be asked questions about your car. Cars should be in fair condition; no cords showing on tires, no missing lug nuts, battery securely mounted, etc.
NO CARS WILL PASS TECH WITHOUT THE NUMBER YOU REGISTERED WITH AND CLASS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR! NO NUMBERS AND CLASS NO RUNS AND TIME!
CAR CLASSES:
After a safety evaluation of our Yoder site from a third party we have decided we can't safely run karts without extensive modification to our site, therefore we are not allowing karts to run

CO-DRIVERS:
To enter as a two car driver in the same heat the first driver must complete the MSR entry, then the second driver should register using the "select a previous attendee" option. Limit two drivers per car. Two driver cars must change numbers for each driver before every run. Suggestion for two driver cars: use a number less than one hundred for first driver and add a one to the first number for the second driver being sure to change number to correct driver. These numbers are used by the timing crew and course workers to identify you. If they are not there, or are wrong, you will cause delays in the event.
WEATHER:
We run rain or shine be prepared. We are in an very unprotected site. Lightning in the area will delay the event until Safety says we can resume.
LOCATION INFORMATION:
Located in Yoder, KS, Approximately 35 miles northwest of Wichita
Road Yoder Autocross Site, 1117 East Red Rock Road, Hutchinson, KS is on private property. We are allowed access to the site ONLY on event days. Do not come to the site on non-event days or you will be trespassing.
Please enter the facility slowly and carefully to avoid disturbing the landowners. There are children in the area, so please follow the speed limit signs posted.
Directions from K96:
· Exit to the West at Halstead Street (HCC South Campus/KLETC Sign at the Exit)
· Take first right at Red Rock Rd
· Entrance to site is approximately 1 mile west, entry is a long dirt driveway on the left (toward the south)
· Dirt road leads to runway, follow runway south to paddock

Event requirements
To participate in autocross you will need a valid driver's license with you at the event.
Drivers under the age of 18: You and your parents must digitally complete the Annual Waiver in the Online Store under Licenses & Waivers! Parents must complete the Annual Parental Consent form under their own login and the minor must complete the Annual Waiver Minor form will be required to have BOTH parents or legal guardians sign a minor's competition waiver before participating. SCCA Minor Waiver information below.
WHAT CLASS DOES MY CAR RUN IN? Not sure what class you're in? New to Autocross events enter the Novice Class and come early to TECH and we will help you class your car. You may email the Event Organizer, visit Wichita Region SCCA Facebook Page and send us a message. or you can search for your car in the official SCCA Rulebook or Link to SCCA Classifier. Open modifications, please register in XS-A or XS-B. These newer classes were introduced by the SCCA. XS-A and XS-B are split by minimum vehicle weight.
XS-A AWD: 3000 RWD: 2750 FWD: 2500;
XS-B RWD: 2150 FWD: 2000
RUN/WORK GROUPS: When you register, it tells you which heat you will run in that day. Run Groups will alternate start heats at each event. Please note that these Heat Assignments are subject to change if required for heat balancing.

Loaner Helmets:
A limited number of loaner helmets will be available. Bring your driver's license to the trailer to check out a helmet or see the Novice Coach before your run heat. After you finish your runs please return the loaner helmet to the trailer or to the Novice Coach for the return of your driver's license. First priority will be registered drivers please. If possible we may have loaner helmets for passengers.
Passengers and Spectators:
NOTE: for insurance and safety, ONLY registered drivers and waivered passengers are allowed in the active grid. All Passengers must complete the SCCA Membership application for the free Trial Membership at registration and obtain a passenger wristband. No minors in grid unless driving in the event and no spectators - please use the marked spectator area or paddock/parking area. NO smoking or vaping on site anywhere. This is the land owner's rule, to protect the surounding fields, farms, and animals.

Wichita Region Annual Tech Waiver: Annual Tech is offered as a convenience to experienced autocross racers who have participated in 5 events in the last 12 months. Once issued, it is the driver's responsibility to make sure the vehicle passes the safety (tech) inspection before each race.
