Event Format
We do our best to have ~50 second courses, and still give each driver 8 runs every event. This may need to be changed on an event by event basis, but normally this is accomplished with 4 runs both before and after lunch. All runs count toward a cumulative time, which is used to determine class winners.

Event requirements
Experience required (none)
All levels of experience are welcomed! Those who are new to Rallycross are encouraged to review the SCCA Rallycross Cars and Rules. There is also a great article I Want to Rallycross that would be helpful to review.
Car Prep
Virtually any car in good mechanical condition, and that is wider than it is tall, can run in a Rallycross event. Common missteps we find in tech are not having a proper battery tie down, having loose items (subwoofers in particular), and the occasional cord showing on tires. Other high level items for you to check (and we will during tech) are throttle return and brake firmness.
Car Classification
It also helps to know what class you are going to run before the event, and have your car already appropriately marked. For help with this, review the Rallycross Cars and Rules. Also, please feel free to contact the registrar for this event. (Listed in the right-hand column)
Placing your class and number on your car can either be done with something more established like vinyl or magnet, but even painters tape will suffice. The biggest requirement is that it be a contrasting color to the car.
Age/License
All competitors must meet the requirements set forth by their driver's license to compete. For example, if you have a learner's permit, and it requires a parent or guardian be in the passenger seat, that requirement must be met during competition
For all of those under the age of 18, a minor waiver must be signed by BOTH parents. Obviously there are exceptions to the both parents rule, and we will mostly go off your word, but be prepared to provide proof if asked.
Work Assignments
All competitors are required to perform work assignments when they're not running. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification. If you have a special circumstance, such as a disability, please make the event staff aware at registration check-in.
