Aug 16, 2019 - Aug 31, 2019

Audi Club Northwest 2019 Board Election

The current terms of 2 Board of Trustee positions expire at the end of the QuattroFest event in November 2019. Audi Club Northwest Bylaws require that all candidates for open positions stand for election by the membership prior to the end of August each year.

We have two declared candidates for these positions, and their Candidate Statements are presented for you to review (below) as part of the voting process. Please read each of them prior to voting.

While you are not required to vote yes (selected) or no for all the candidates, please make sure you cast your votes by selecting the candidate(s) who you want to manage the club's business and represent you for the next two years. You may select up to two names.

If you have any difficulty with this process please contact Todd Peach (acnw@thepeaches.com). Your membership information is being validated automatically by the system in the background. If some portion of that data has not been updated correctly or was delayed for some reason there is a chance that you will be restricted from completing the voting process. We want to fix any issues and ensure that everyone who wants to vote gets to vote if they are eligible. Contact Todd if you have ANY struggle with this electronic process. He can update membership expirations, email addresses, physical address, etc.

Your vote is completely private and secure. It is not possible for any Audi Club Northwest or Audi Club North America personnel to request or see individual voting data. There are no names listed or reported with your vote. The results are independently certified by MotorsportReg/Pukka Software management and reported to the Audi Club Northwest Board.

Thank you for being a member and participating in Audi Club Northwest!

CANDIDATE STATEMENTS (below)
(alphabetized by last name; Vote for two total)

1. David Kelley (Member 33919)

Has it already been four years since you first elected me to the ACNW board of trustees? And twelve years since I joined the Audi Club? They say that time flies when you're having fun…

I've enjoyed volunteering for the club for the past ten years in various ways - instructor, group assignments coordinator, safety and instructor committee participant, and member of the board. I hope you've seen the improvements we've made in the past few years at the events we run while keeping the admission price to our events relatively steady - including more emphasis on coaching and learning with the ACNW Driver's Skill Matrix. We've added more social events as well - the Grand Prix of Portland and tour of Common Fibers come to mind.

By voting for me you'll allow me to continue to serve you by continuing to improve our programs and events. As a Club the work behind the scenes they’ve accomplished is a national benchmark, period. That being said, it’s time to continue building on the social side by enabling more off-track events while maintaining the club's budget to keep our HPDE and DS events accessible to all members. It IS possible to have it all, and with your vote I will work towards that end with the Board.

Thank you for the consideration.

Jim Wegielewski

2019 Secretary
Audi Club NW
