HPDS Students: Friday 4-8pm. NOTE THE ABBREVIATED FRIDAY REGISTRATION SCHEDULE
Registration will be set up in the NORTH Paddock TECH SHED from (about) 4pm through 8pm Friday.
NO REGISTRATION AT THE HOTEL !!! Please make every effort to register Friday at the track.
LIMITED REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN SATURDAY MORNING 6:45am-7:30am. Registration will close during mandatory pre-track drivers meetings. You risk missing track time if you wait to check-in Saturday.
Students: Read all of the Student Confirmation Packet found at http://tarheelbmwcca.org/track.html prior to arrival. Bring your completed and signed Tech Inspection, Drivers License and Helmet (Snell 2010 or newer) to registration/check-in. Bring all 3 items with you at the same time.
Instructors: Once you indicate availability to instruct this event, you will wait to be confirmed as being needed to staff this event. Instructors do not pay online. When you are confirmed, please go to www.tarheelbmwcca.org/track.html and download the Instructor Confirmation Packet. Thank you for being available to instruct. Remember Friday is available as orientation day for all instructors who are working the Saturday and Sunday event. Don't forget to bring your CHECKBOOK or cash for Friday...
ALL IN-CAR INSTRUCTORS MUST HAVE WORKING COMMUNICATORS and MUST HAVE A PASSENGER SEAT... You will likely be assigned two students. We strive for an A & C or B & D combination, enabling you to refresh between sessions and time to visit/debrief with your students. It is required that you do the written evaluation of your students and review it with them as part of your duties. Sign-offs are approved by the CI team prior to letting the student drive without you. Sign offs should only be done if you are willing to bet your reputation as an instructor on the good judgment and skill level of the student. We do not subscribe to sign-off for D level students and reserve sign-off until Sunday afternoon for C students. In the event of changing conditions such as rain, signed-off students should be ridden with for one session to insure they have adjusted to the conditions. Ride with your students the first session on Sunday, even if they have been signed off on Saturday.
Instructor's scores from students attending the previous school were excellent. Congratulations. Keep up the good work. BTW, Instructors and students may view their previous evaluation summaries under "log book" as soon as our registration staff makes it available to you.
Only CONFIRMED entrants are listed in "who is attending". If your dashboard status shows "New", that's better than waitlist. Be patient, the registration review process is involved and may take several weeks for your name to appear here. We may not have enough instructors registered to confirm you yet.

Students and Instructors: You must cancel by using the self-cancellation on Motorsportreg.com and please email Phil Antoine [booflick@yahoo.com]. The timestamp is automatically added to the private note letting organizers apply the refund policy.
Our refund policy during this period is relaxed to a virtual honor system. No questions asked, no deadline. We cannot incentivize folks to make a poor decision to show up if unsure of their health. If the day before the event you suspect COVID symptoms, STAY HOME. You will receive a full refund if you cannot attend.
