For 2017 the USBA ART program has partnered with the Yamaha® Champions Riding School to provide the same cutting-edge curriculum that is taught in their schools around the country. Enrollment is limited to ensure a good student to instructor ratio.  We utilize the Utah Motorsports Campus as our training location dividing time between classroom, large open spaces and the racetrack.

Enrollment is limited to 30 students per event.

During the week before you’re event you’ll receive an email with specific instructions regarding where the classroom is for your ART program.  Check-in is promptly at noon with the school starting shortly thereafter.  We break into two basic sessions with several “small groups” in each session to assure that you get the individual attention you want.

Our “Street” session will be biased towards language targeted at street situations where our “Track” session will focus more on improving closed course performance.  While the skills are the same, the way we USE the skills may be different and as such we divide our classes appropriately.

The “Street” session may wear standard road going motorcycle apparel, including textile or leather jacket, textile or leather pants (or double jeans if no specific gear is available), boots that fully cover your ankles, gloves that cover your wrists and a full-face or flip up helmet made in the last 5 years.

The “Track” session requires either a one piece motorcycle suit or a two-piece suit that joins at the waist for at least 3/4 of the distance around the junction.  Motorcycle specific boots, gloves and a full face (not flip-up) helmet made in the last 5 years are also required.

For questions about the school please reach out to our Director of Schools, Mike Hawkins, at <schools@utahsba.com>
