Sailing into the Holiday

 

Our Member Appreciation Holiday Party at the Spinnaker Restaurant is quickly approaching.  Come and start the Holiday Season among friends and fellow auto enthusiasts enjoying a sumptuous buffet in a private room with panoramic views of the Sausalito waterfront, San Francisco Skyline, Seals and Sailboats.

The event will begin at 11:15 am, with a Show and Shine in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. It’s limited to 20 vehicles, so sign up quickly and reserve your spot through MSR! Complimentary parking is available for all other cars at the Spinnaker. At 11:45 am, our Board Members will greet you as you enter the Torres Room, our private room where you’ll start with complimentary champagne and mouth-watering hor d'oeuvres.  At 12:15 pm, the buffet will begin with main courses consisting of Penne Pasta with grilled Chicken, Petrale Sole encrusted with Macadamia Nut Crust and Buerre Blanc with Capers and Lemon (a Spinnaker signature dish), along with Sliced Whole New York Sirloin with Green Peppercorn Sauce. You will receive a drink ticket for a complimentary glass of wine and or soft drinks. There will be a no-host bar to enjoy your favorite cocktail, wine or beer. The dessert table will tempt even those who can’t eat another bite. You'll have to have strong will power to pass up the Tiramisu, Chocolate Decadence Cake or Berry Trifle. Coffee and Tea are included.  Thanks to Bill Manson, Food and Beverage Manger at the Spinnaker Restaurant and one of our section members, for making this event possible and special.

The Board will be presenting members who attend with their anniversary pins based on 5-year intervals. You’ll receive notification ahead of time if you are receiving a pin.

We will introduce our incoming Executive Board Officers and learn about our 2019 Event Calendar.

There will be a raffle that will include a dinner for 2 at the Spinnaker Restaurant. In addition, we are supporting the Toys for Tots program, and for each toy brought you will receive an extra raffle ticket.

Should you wish to make it a weekend, there are 3 local hotels that are within walking distance.  They are the Casa Madrona Suites and Spa, Hotel Sausalito & Suites, and The Inn above Tide.  There are also many local shops to browse and begin your holiday shopping.

Dress is daytime holiday attire.
