Description:
European Collision Center (ECC) is the only Mercedes Certified Body Shop in San Francisco, performing the majority of body and paint repair for Mercedes-Benz cars and trucks. The presenter at the event will be Alan Ahrens of Axalta Coating Systems (formerly Dupont) which is the international supplier of automotive paints for Mercedes-Benz. Our host, Ludwig Rutkowski will first conduct a tour of the new European Collision Center paint facility. Alan will then present on a number of topics and videos having to do with paint specifications and repair paint finishes on Mercedes-Benz vehicles to meet original manufactured specifications, followed by questions and answers, and a potential hands-on demonstration in a paint booth. Among other discussion items,a Mercedes-Benz SLS will be used to demonstrate how body parts are dismantled, painted and reassembled.
