Route 66 was a 2,400 mile road connecting Chicago to Los Angeles. The iconic roadway was a symbol of America on the move. Join us on Saturday, August 9, 2014, as we tour the Autry National Center's celebration of Route 66. We will meet at the museum at 10:00 a.m., for a 10:15 a.m. guided tour. Following the guided tour, you are welcome to enjoy lunch on your own in the Crossroad's West Cafe. At 1:30 p.m., the Autry will be screening the 1976 film "Bound for Glory". The Academy Award winning film is based on the life of folk singer Woody Guthrie.
The event is $9 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for children.
