Technical Inspection - We inspect every vehicle before competition to make sure it will be safe – for instance, that the vehicle has seat belts, the battery is secure and the wheels don’t feel like they’re gonna fall off. Please don’t have a bunch of extra junk rolling around in your vehicle, and if you are bringing your own helmet have it handy. Lifted vehicles probably won’t work, and vehicles have to have a roof and doors and windows (or window nets).
Registration - You must have a valid driver’s license, sign a waiver and pay the entry fee if you want to compete (it’s free to come watch, but you still have to sign the waiver). You have to have an SCCA membership, and you can get a weekend membership at the event. You have to wear a helmet, and we have loaners in case you don’t have one.
We have a work-run format, so half the session you will be competing, and the other half you will be working the course, so come prepared to hang out for the whole session - bring water, snacks, rain jacket, boots, sunscreen, etc; anything you may need.
ORP Info - Camping is allowed in designated area. Absolutely no open fires but a barbeque is allowed. ORP isn't near anything so make sure to bring your own food/drinks. Check the weather, Eastern Oregon can get very cold at night so bring warm clothes. There is fuel available at ORP but it is expensive, nearest gas is in Bigs which is 30 min away so fill up there.
Please review the SCCA RallyCross rule book, including the classes for vehicles.
Also please review the Oregon Rally Group RallyCross Supplemental Regulations which outlines ORG event specific details (operational guidelines, season points structure, etc).
