Tires with treadwear 200 and above do not affect classing.

Tires 100-199 will bump you up one class, example from stock to modified.

Tires 0-99 will bump your vehicles class up 2, example from stock to race,

Modifications

List of what qualifies as a modification

Brakes- upgrading calipers or rotors to non OE equipment, pads and fluids are not included

Engine- engine modifications such as heads, cam/cams, displacement, compression changes, intake manifold, air intake(s)

Suspension- non OE struts/springs (includes coilovers, air ride etc.) swaybars, control arms, subframe connectors.

Weight reduction- aftermarket race seats, lightweight driveshaft, etc.

Mods that bump you a class

Swapping in an engine that your care did not come with stock (doesn’t matter if your body generation had it as an option, if YOUR car didn’t have it, its bumping you a class)

Boosting a NA motor (if you add turbo/turbos, supercharger, nitrous etc to your car it will bump you a class.)

Gutted interiors (cars with seats removed, no dash, no carpet etc. will bump you a class)

Pad & Safety

Rules

Pad/College rules

  • Absolutely no drones!!!!! This is not our personal rule, this rule comes from the college because of the military base.

  • 15 MPH max speed upon entering and exiting the pad and college. This is a rule of the college.

  • No drifting or hooning on the premises, this includes on the pad. This is also a college rule, your car losing grip is one thing but if you intentionally drift your vehicle around corners you will be asked to leave. We share this pad with the SCCA and the Corvette club, we will not be the reason all the groups are banned from this location.

  • No handheld video recording, in simpler terms all video recording whether it be GoPro, cell phone, camera etc. MUST be hard mounted in the car. This is a safety concern, in case the device flies in the car and hits the driver or it gets stuck under the brake pedal etc.

  • While working corners, pay attention to cars on the track! We do not want anyone hit or injured. If a cone is knocked over in your area, make sure no other vehicles are coming before going out to put it back in place.

Race Cart/s

  • While the youth and or adults of the group are driving/racing the carts, ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED AND TURNED OFF.

Work schedule

  • work schedules are always split into morning and afternoon shifts. If you race in the morning, you work the afternoon and vise versa.

    • If you skip out or bail on your working assignment, you will be put on a sort of an account hold. You will not be able to race again until either you work a double shift, meaning both morning and afternoon shifts. The other option is you pay a double entry fee.
