The Summer Sizzler will use the Richta timing system. The Richta system is the state of the art timing system. During the two week time period before the rally, the contestants will use the internet to download all of the timing data for the rally. The contestants cannot access the data. The Route Instructions (RIs) will give the contestants the directions to follow and the speeds to maintain. The checkpoint locations will also be in the RIs. When each rally car reaches each checkpoint their phone will record the exact time of arrival and tell the contestants that time and how much early or late they are. In Tour rallies the route instructions are very straight forward and easy to follow. The biggest challenge of a Tour Rally is to stay on time. Newcomers to rallying should enter the SOP Class.
All minors must have a Minor Release Waver signed by both parents/guardians. Please request this Waver in advance.
