2019 PCA National Region of the Year

We will be staying at two separate hotels in Utah. Friday night will be the Hampton Inn in Springdale, Utah. Saturday night will be The Abbey Inn in Cedar City, Utah. Each person attending this weekend needs to make their own hotel reservations. We have saved a block of eight (8) rooms at each hotel at a special rate. Your reservations need to be completed before September 17, 2020 on a first come and first-served basis.

If you would prefer to stay at a different hotel, you are welcome to do so. However, All Driver's Meetings, Tours, and other meetings will begin at the Host hotel.

The information for the Friday night Hotel:

The tentative schedule for the weekend is:

Friday:

  • 1:00 pm.   Meet at Petro Station at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (6595 N. Hollywood Blvd.)
  • 1:15 p.m.  Driver's Meeting
  • 1:30 p.m.  Begin Tour to Utah
  • 4:30 p.m.  Arrive in Springdale, Utah and check into Hotel
  • 5:30 p.m.  No-Host cocktails and dinner at local restaurant.

Saturday:

  • OFF-ROAD TOUR
  • 8:30 a.m. Meet in front of Hotel Lobby for Off-Road Tour Driver's Meeting
  • 9:00 a.m.  Begin Off-Road Tour through Zion National Park and Duck Creek. The tour will continue through the Utah countryside, back through Zion Park then over the Kolob Plateau and finish in Cedar City. There will be a stop for lunch as you travel back through Springdale. This tour is approximately six (6) hours long.
  • ON_ROAD TOUR
  • 9:30 a.m. Meet in front of Hotel Lobby for On-Road Tour Driver's Meeting
  • 10:00 a.m.  Begin On-Road Tour through Zion National Park and Brice Canyon National Park. The tour will continue through the Utah countryside and finish in Cedar City. There will be a stop for lunch in Bryce Canyon City. This tour is approximately five (5) hours long.
  • 3:30 p.m.  Both Tours will arrive in Cedar City about the same time and check in to the Hotel
  • 5:30 p.m. No-Host cocktails and dinner at a local restaurant.

Sunday:

  • OFF-ROAD TOUR
  • 8:30 a.m. Meet in front of Hotel Lobby for Off-Road Tour Driver's Meeting
  • 9:00 a.m.  Begin Off-Road Tour through from Summit to Brianhead Utah. The tour will continue through the Utah countryside with a west to east view of Cedar Breaks National Monument and an east to west view of Cedar Breaks after we leave Brianhead. The Tour will finish in Cedar City. This tour is approximately two and a half (2 1/2) hours long.
  • ON-ROAD TOUR
  • 9:00 a.m. Meet in front of Hotel Lobby for On-Road Tour Driver's Meeting
  • 9:30 a.m.  Begin On-Road Tour through Parowan, Brianhead with a stop on the east side of Cedar Breaks National Monument. The tour will finish in Cedar City. This tour is approximately two (2) hours long.
  • 11:00 a.m.  Both Tours will arrive in Cedar City at the same time and have lunch in Cedar City or travel to St. George for lunch.  We will then travel back to Las Vegas.


 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1. Due to COVID-19, we how have to follow additional guidelines set by PCA National and the States of Nevada and Utah. These include the following guidelines:

     a. Follow the state and municipal guidelines.

     b. All participants and staff will wear masks at all times (except in the car). This is for your safety and the safety of everyone on-site.

     c. Hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, disposal face masks, and disinfectants will be provided if you do not have any. However, you should bring your own to ensure there is enough for all.

     d. We will limit in-person contact as much as possible between you, other participants, and the volunteer staff. 

     e. You are encouraged to stay home if you are at a higher risk for severe illness. Your temperature will be checked at the driver's meeting. If it is higher than 100.4 degrees, you and all the occupants in your car will not be admitted to the event and asked to go home. 

      f. Lunch will be set up to allow for social distancing requirements.

2.  The Drivers Meeting is MANDATORY for all drivers.  Critical topics will be discussed.

3. The PCA Release and Waiver of Liability form RELEASE_AND_WAIVER_OF_LIABILITY-PCA2009 (1).pdf  and the Communicable Disease Exposure and Infection Assumption of Risk, Hold Harmless, Release, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement form PCA Communicable Disease Waiver 20200625.pdf must also be completed prior to the event and brought with you to the track to present to the Registration desk. Without these two forms signed, you will not be able to participate in this weekend event.
