ALL CARS MUST HAVE  SPARK ARRESTORS if ANY CHANCE OF SPARK OUT OF EXHAUST.

A GRASS/SITE FIRE WILL IMMEDIATELY CANCEL EVENT AND JEOPARDIZE FUTURE EVENTS!!!  

FIRE PREVENTION IS A REQUIREMENT. IF YOUR CAR IS A FIRE RISK, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON UNPAVED LOT. BE A GOOD AMBASSADOR TO THE SPORT AND CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

98 DB at 50 feet sound restriction. (This is about as loud as a jackhammer at 50 feet).

 

cost:  $120 for both days or $75 for 1 day.  $15 will be added for non-members for weekend membership. Your weekend membership is valid for 5 days. Up to two weekend memberships (within a 60 day time frame) may be applied towards the cost of an annual SCCA membership. 

All Thunderhill events for the foreseeable future will be SCCA sanctioned events. it would be cheaper in the long run to become an annual SCCA member. 

Entry fees paid online ahead of time via motorsportsreg, onsite payments may be allowed if discussed with event organizers beforehand.

All persons driving in a car at this event must have an SCCA membership, either full or weekend.

Everyone is required to sign a waiver.

All entrants are required to work at the event.

Helmets must be worn by all drivers during competition. Helmets must be in good condition, fit properly, provide adequate peripheral vision and the chin strap must be securely fastened. All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2015, SAH2010, SA2010, SA2005, M2015, M2010, M2005  K2015, K2010, K2005), SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable.

Loaner helmets will NOT be available at the event.

All vehicles must have tech completed prior to competing. Tech inspection will be the responsibility of each competitor. If you require assistance in preparing your vehicle for tech, contact an event official and someone will help you.

Your car should be race ready when you bring it to grid. Your car will have tech inspection on grid, remain with your car, open hood and trunk until tech is complete.

SCHEDULE

Saturday and Sunday

7:30 am: Registration opens  Tech opens, and the course is open for walking (@ site location)

8:45am Drivers meeting for morning group

9:00am: First car off

11:45am Lunch break

12:15pm  Drivers meeting for afternoon group.

12:20pm Race Resumes.

Each Heat will get at least 4 runs


Fuel, Air, and food and water are available at the event site.

SAFETY:

All vehicles must pass all safety inspection including on the following points prior to running:

  1. Working seat belts.
  2. Throttle return action, secure battery.
  3. No oil or antifreeze leaks.
  4. Adequate clutch (if applicable) & brake pedal.
  5. Tires must have measurable thread and in good condition.
  6. Wheel bearings must have no play.
  7. All loose items, snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts and trim rings must be removed.
  8. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
  9. Helmets are required.
  10. NO ALCOHOL ON SITE & NO SMOKING ON SITE.
  11. UTV, C1, C2 may have additional safety requirements.

Dry camping at site available for $35 per night, to be paid on site to event organizer. This amount is required by Thunderhill raceway for camping.


Ultimately, it is your responsibility to assess the risk to you, both on-track and off, and to make the decision on whether or not to participate. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing these symptoms in the last two weeks, please stay home.Notice to Participants: In light of the current COVID-19 situation, every attempt will be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus. New processes and procedures are being developed and will be put into place for events going forward.

While on site please take the health and safety of your fellow participants, volunteers and staff into consideration and practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently.
