Off-Road Driving Adventure

Once again I have teamed up with Mike Serpe (the leader fo the G-Wagon Group and a highly accomplished off-road adventurer) to design and build a 20-acre off-road track around my house in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Come and test your driving skills on a 1.5 mile dirt course on August 3rd. For those of you who atttened 2 years ago, you will remember that these dirt roads have many steep and twisty areas along with tricky maneuvers through trees. These dirt roads are open to all - all wheel drive vehicles. In addition to this there will be a challenge course for G-wagons wtih 2 steep hill climbs and a drive over large logs. Some of you will remember we did the log challenge last time and it was awesome and great fun to watch for the spectators too!

Plan on arriving at 10:00am for the orientation and a practice drive around the course; Spectators can get a ride with those that want to drive for this practice lap. We will provide a huge lunch of smoked meats, salads and dessert, however please plan to bring your own drinks. After lunch you will be free to drive the course or watch from the many vantage points around the course. Plan on having a pleasant and exciting day as a driver or spectator. MBCA requires an insurance waiver that will be provided for you that day. All attendees will need to sign the waiver.

For those of you who want to continue your adventure you are welcome to bring a tent and stay overnight on the property.
