Departing from Enumclaw , the PNWR tour to Hood River via the Skamania Forest covers some of the best back roads in Washington as it skirts Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, and Mt Adams. Staying two nights in the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa, Sunday offers great options; scenic drives, wine tasting, hiking, biking, Portland sightseeing, golf, and more. Monday is a self-guided day home with optional routes including a grand scenic tour up the Eastern slopes of the Cascades before crossing over Chinook pass back into Western Washington.
The Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa will be our headquarters for the tour. Situated in a park-like setting at the head of a 200 foot waterfall overlooking the Columbia River, the 40 room hotel is the perfect location for our event. Built in the 1920’s and located two miles from the town of Hood River, it quickly became the go to place for celebrities of the day. Today, the recently renovated hotel is a great starting point for our tour activities.
Two nightly room rates are available at the hotel, $209 for the Garden View and $239 for the River View. Call directly for your reservation 541-386-5566. A two night minimum is required; however, if you would like to waitlist for 1 night please contact tours@pnwr.org. Single night requests will be confirmed if space is available after the registration deadline on August 15th.
On Sunday night PNWR hosts the final tour banquet of the season. Buffet choices will include Barbecued Brisket, Baked Rosemary Chicken, Fried Catfish, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Hush Puppy's, Corn on the Cob or Okra, Pasta or Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Green Salad, and Cornbread. A full cash bar will be open and wine corkage is available. The price per person is $35. Registration for the dinner can be made at www.motortsportreg.com . Tour Requirements:
- Cancellations and refunds: Please read and understand this policy before registering. Up until 30 days before the event, you may cancel and receive a refund for portions of the event paid directly to PNWR, less a 10% process fee. Hotel Reservations must be cancelled within the policy of the hotel. For additional information, email the event chair at tours@pnwr.org.
- Car club membership: To participate you should be a member of the PCA and PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Unless the tour is specifically intended for a particular type of Porsche you may bring other makes of car to the tour. ...but why would you want to do that?

For Adult participants and attendees: Please print and sign the event waiver, and bring it with you to give to the tour organizer the day of the tour. All passengers and drivers need to sign.

- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 16 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, the participant and his/her parents must sign an additional waiver and the participant must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian. - Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
