White Mountain Road Rally with the BMW Classic Car Club of America

We are privileged to have the BMW Classic Car Club of America join us this year in New Hampshire! The BMW Classic Car Club is the only official Club in the USA solely dedicated to promote the ownership and preservation of classic BMWs. While their primary interest is BMWs produced thru the 1970s, cars from the 1980s and rare and interesting BMWs that have been dubbed as “future classics” are also found in their fold.
Although their signature, week-long Pine State Rally is now officially closed to new entrants, we have been invited to participate with our sister Club. On Sunday September 10, any BMWCCA member has been invited to join their driving tour and road rally for the day. You must be a current BMWCCA member and you must bring a BMW of any vintage to join the rally.
The group will leave at 9AM sharp from the White Mountain Hotel and Resort in North Conway, taking a counter-clockwise route around the White Mountains. The first stop is Mount Washington where you may Climb to the Clouds along the famous Mount Washington Auto Road. From Mt. Washington you will have two route options - staying on the paved NH Route 115 and US 302, or taking the gravel road through Jefferson Notch. The rally then regroups at the historic Omni Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods. The afternoon continues with a regularity (timed) run through Bear Notch. The eastern end of the Kancamagus then returns the group rally to North Conway. PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED. REGISTRATION CLOSES PROMPTLY ON AUGUST 31.
COST $10 for route book and registration; $20 box lunch optional.
The Mt. Washington Auto Road is an additional fee to be paid on your own.
A few volunteer WMC / BMWCCA members are especially needed to serve as event marshalls and assist with timing cars on the regularity stage. Volunteers will be rewarded with a free box lunch!
