Please join us for this event of the 2020 Wichita Region SCCA Solo season.
NEW RULES REGARDING CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19:
Wichita SCCA is implementing new rules for this event designed to protect our members with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Wichita SCCA leadership expects all participants to respect our regions rules and reserves the right to deny entry to any individual who does not.
The key changes are as follows:
- All participants must pre-register online. No walk-ups will be allowed.
- Loaner helmets will not be available. You must bring your own helmet. Helmets are still required to meet SCCA standards per the Solo rulebook
- Workers whose roles require close contact with others will be required to wear a mask. This includes registration, timing/scoring, grid, and tech. Corner workers will be required to wear gloves, which will be provided.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own water. We will have water bottles available, but it will not be iced.
Of note, we are allowing spectators & ride alongs! We encourage riders to wear masks.
As always, participants in these events participate at their own risk, and all SCCA rules regarding waivers, safety, and event operation are still in effect. Our main goal is still to provide participants with the best, most fun experience, but to do so with the highest regard for safety as possible. Safety is a team effort, however, and we appreicate your support in making these events as fun and safe as always.
NEW PAYMENT POLICY:
To pre-register, you must have a card on file for your MSR account. However, this card will not be charged until you are checked-in on-site. If you wish to use another form of payment, make sure to tell the registration worker and they can process that alternative payment. Paying with cash or a check will take no longer than it did before. And refunds should not be necessary as you will only be charged for the event if you are in attendance

Located in Yoder, KS, Approx 35 miles northwest of Wichita
Directions from K96:
- Exit to the West at Halstead street
- Take first right at Red Rock Rd
- Entrance to site is apprx 1 mile west, entry is a long dirt driveway on the left (toward the south)
- Dirt road leads to runway, follow runway south to paddock
NOTE:
Due to an ongoing audit by SCCA National Office, junior karts are currently not eligible to participate.

If you're still unsure or just want to come out and have fun, please register in XS-A or XS-B. These new classes were introduced by the SCCA this year and allow mostly open modifications. XS-A and XS-B are split by minimum vehicle weight. XS-A AWD: 3000 RWD: 2750 FWD: 2500; XS-B RWD: 2150 FWD: 2000
To speed up registration, we assign heats by vehicle class per the table below.

How does this work? When you register you simply tell us your class. Your class tells you which heat you will run. Run Groups will alternate heats at each event.
Please plan on arriving no later than 8:30 AM so you can visit the trailer to complete your event registration and prepare for technical inspection of your car. Even if you elect to pre-pay your entry fee you still need to check-in at the trailer to fill-out your tech sheet & sign the liability waiver before the event starts--the earlier, the better. MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING AT 9:20 AM!
NOTE: WE WILL CHECK YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE AND SCCA MEMBER CARD AT REGISTRATION. PLEASE HAVE THEM READY

REGISTRATION PROCESS
1) Park and empty your car.
2) Visit Registration trailer. Sign waiver and fill out weekend membership at the tables out front. Pay at the window, and receive a tech form
3) Drive to grid for inspection & receive signed tech sheet. Please have your number on your car before tech
4) Keep tech sheet under wiper blades until you grid for your heat
This event will take place in Yoder, KS at the former Hutchinson Naval Air Station, on what was once the west runway. Please enter the facility slowly and carefully to avoid disturbing the landowners. A map and additional detail are located here: http://www.wichitascca.org/Maps/MapToYoder.html
Per SCCA event requirements, helmets must be Snell certified (SA or M), year 2005 or newer, or ECE R22.05. We also have plenty of loaner helmets available on site.
