Founded in 1995, the Sports Car Driving Association provides the driving enthusiast the opportunity to experience high performance driving in a safe and controlled environment. The SCDA, LLC events are strictly driver educational events, and are non-competitive. These are not timed events, nor are they competitive events. We welcome everyone from novices with no track experience, as well as seasoned track drivers.
Watkins Glen events are $385 for a single day and $695 for a two consecutive day event.

The Sports Car Driving Association is excited about our upcoming return to Watkins Glen International. This high performance driving event is being held on Monday July 17th and Tuesday July 18th. For 2017 we are pleased to let our customers know that four on track sessions will be offered each day – 2 full hours of track time per day! We will utilize the fast and fun and recently repaved 3.4 mile Long Course configuration at this event. Watkins Glen, located at the southern tip of Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York is one of the premier permanent road courses in North America. This first class facility hosted the United States Grand Prix for many years, and now the track is one of two road courses that NASCAR Sprint Cup races on. This is the same track that drivers from Jeff Gordon to Jackie Stewart have driven on! Clark, Hill, Stewart, Fittipaldi, Andretti are just a handful of motorsports icons that have contributed to the history of Watkins Glen. In an effort to provide maximum levels of safety, quality, and fun at our events, the SCDA will provide trained and certified SCCA flaggers at the corner stations. This ensures that our drivers can focus on one thing- improving their driving skills. Arrive and drive Spec Miatas are available for this event as well! Each participant can expect four driving sessions each day; one on one in car Instruction (if needed) and Classroom Instruction each day. We are pleased to announce that Camping will be allowed at this event on Monday night (only)! “The Glen” is a track that you must put on your “To Drive” List!

Event requirements
The Sports Car Driving Association welcomes all driving enthusiasts to attend our events. In the interest of clarification, we would like to outline the basic criteria that should be met, in order to place you in the appropriate run group. We make every effort to ensure that drivers are placed in run groups with other drivers of comparable experience levels. This will ensure that run groups are balanced, safe and fun. This guideline is meant to serve as a tool to help you decide where you would fit in best within our club.
SCDA, LLC Run Group Classification:
NOVICE is also known as the Green Run Group.
INTERMEDIATE is also known as the Blue Run Group.
ADVANCED is also known as the Red Run Group.
