NEQ is pleased to offer Pro Coaching at Watkins Glen. Peter Argetsinger, who many of you know from past coaching sessions, will be available during the NEQ event.
This opportunity is open to Instructors and Candidates first and if open sessions remain, to Advanced drivers who are interested in becoming Instructors. The cost is $125.00 for one session, payable directly to Peter at the event.
Pro coaching with Peter offers three opportunities:
The first is Peter helps you perfect your driving.
The second benefit is you can transfer this knowlege to your students and it gives you a huge amount of credibility as an advanced instructor, or potential instructor.
The third and perhaps most important opportunity that Peter can offer is he will demonstrate coaching/instructing behavior and techniques. You will observe how a pro teaches a driver and learn to be a better instructor yourself.
When you look at the overall effect of one session with Peter, your ability as a driver and instructor are immediately refined and the benefit spreads to the most important drivers we have, our students.
NEQ has limited slots. A special price of $125.00 per session is offered, signup is only through MSR. A pro coach normally would be hired by the day and cost you at least $1000.00. This is an opportunity to get a piece of that at an affordable cost.
Remember, there really is no bad time slot. If you go first you feel unprepared but then have two days to build on the lesson and transfer the skills. If you go last perhaps you feel more comfortable as an individual. There really is no way to come up short. Either way you have all season to build on the experience.
Are you thinking "I've already done that?" Remember, pro teams use coaches all the time, not once. Driving well is mutifaceted. The line, how you handle the car as well as how you mentally approach each session. A good coach will refine all areas.
We will schedule you in the first open slot as you sign up. You must be willing to drive when assigned, rain or shine. A schedule will be available at the event.
Event requirements
You must be an Instructor or Advanced student who may be considering instructing in the future, or a current IC. Your car must meet all the normal NEQ tech requirements for both seats.
Please indicate any prefence for when you would like to run with Peter. We will attempt to accomodate you where possible.
All registrants will be waitlisted immediately, and a schedule will be built from the waitlist. A first come, first served policy will be adhered to if possible.
