Walter Reed restricts access to its base. You must have one of the following to get on the base.
1. A CAC card (issued to personnel working for or on government contracts)
2. A retired military identification card
3. You must fill out and submit a Base Access Request form. This takes up to 2 weeks for processing and we are now after Sept 8, the 2 week window.
If you have a CAC card or retired military identification card, please continue to register.
If you don't have a CAC card, you can still register but you form may or may not be processed in time. You may continue to register and we can check the status of your form as we get closer to Sept 23. If your form has not been processed by the time of the show, you may be denied access to the base. Your credit card will not be charged.
Continue if you wish to register .....
As soon as you register, I will send you an email with the form and directions on where to send it...
Event requirements
Please read this carefully.
We are excited to offer you a chance to display your Corvette with other Corvettes on the Walter Reed campus.
We are limited to the first 30 Corvettes that register. You of course are allowed to bring a guest.
Sadly, we are restricted to 30 Corvettes, so guests that are driving other cars can't be accommodated for this event.
Registration Fees: For this event, we were restricted from making cash donations to the Warrior Transition Brigade; however, we will further research what needs to be done to make future donations. The registration fee is $15.00 and used to purchase the food, drinks, paper plates, etc.
Magazines: You are also requested to bring magazines such as National Geographic, AutoWeek, Road and Track, Popular Science, other car magazines, gun magazines, motorcycle magazines, as examples. Last year we left over 100# of magazines.
