Come join our first-ever Walla Walla wine tasting weekend. The Walla Walla Valley is a place where scenic beauty, internationally recognized wineries, renowned restaurants, cultural inspiration, outdoor adventures and small town friendliness come together to create an experience you’ll want to share again and again.
This is a place where winemakers from around the world are coming to start the next generation of legendary wineries. Discover what makes Walla Walla Valley wine so special. And discover some of the more interesting and scenic roads between Spokane and Walla Walla.
We will depart at 9:30 AM from Trading Co. (Just south of Spokane on hwy195) on the morning of Saturday, April 23. We'll drive south to the Old Spiral Highway above Clarkston, and then west to Walla Walla, stopping in Waitsburg at the Whoopemup Hollow Cafe for a delicious Cajun-style lunch. Then it's on to Walla Walla with an expected arrival around 3:00 PM. In the afternoon, you can go wine tasting, bike riding, or just explore the area. There are many tasting rooms and fine restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
On Sunday, we'll have a group breakfast (location TBD). After breakfast, we'll be on our way home via Palouse Falls and other great sights on the Inland Empire's naturally beautiful back roads. Or if you'd like, you can stay a little longer in Walla Walla and bike or visit wineries outside the city.
We ask that you register so we can make arrangements beforehand. Also if you want to reserve a room at the Motel 6, you must register. Please let us know how many people will be attending with you
