About this event

Come join NNJR for three great days at the Virginia International Raceway, this is one of the premier events on the PCA DE calendar.   We will drive the full course all three days, open to all drivers (including students!)  and marques except open-wheeled cars. Plenty of track time is on store with four ~30 min runs per day.

All attendees will be required to follow Federal, State, and Local Government CDC COVID 19 guidelines may include but not limited to the use of hand sanitizer, wearing of masks, gloves, and sanitation procedures. Additional requirements and information regarding these compliance policies will be announced [and made available on the NNJR website].

No partial (one or two days) registrations are accepted.  No refunds will be issued after October 15. No event credits will be issued after October 22.

You will need a MotorsportReg account to register.  If you don’t have one, you can create one at any time.  Just go back to the previous main page and click on the “Create Account” tab above the event list. Then return to our main page to register.

If your registration group shows "wait-listed", register anyway.   Do not register for another group if your initial group/registration is wait-listed.  For students, we want to make sure we have enough instructors before letting everyone in.  The earlier you sign up, the better chance you have.  With few exceptions, everyone who registers on Day 1 eventually gets accepted, just be patient.  If you are wait-listed, please check your status frequently, as the Registrar will move you off of the wait list as spots open up. This is especially true for instructed groups as we can add additional students after additional instructors register. This event always sells out quickly.  If you need to cancel from the event, you must do so on-line in your account.

IMPORTANT – Occupants in a race-prepared car must wear a one-piece SFI- or FIA-rated driver’s suit with a minimum of two layers.  Any car that has had the interior modified to accept a full cage install or is no longer street legal. Basically this applies to race cars and track dedicated build cars. The person with a slightly modified bolt-in cage with performance upgrades is not the primary concern. VIR has had this rule for the past few years and it is our understanding that they are now enforcing it.

If you haven’t already opted in to receive event text messages from NNJR, please consider doing so at the end of the registration application. Note that in contrast to many organizations, our only use of this service is to send critical communications at the track e.g., schedule changes.  With a very large paddock at VIR, the PA cannot always be heard. You can opt out at any time.

National PCA has mandated the use of a head and neck restraint device (HANS) when the car is equipped with a harness system.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver's license. Snell M or SA rated 2015 or 2020 helmets are required (SA Highly Recommended).

Your car must pass a pre-event tech inspection.  Mandatory Tech Inspection information including requirements, location, date, forms can be found here:  NNJR 2020 Tech Form.    This information also will be distributed with the acceptance/confirmation email package. Out-of -Region participants may have their car inspected by their Region's tech inspectors as in the previous link.  All participants need to use the NNJR tech form.

You will need a credit card to register (this "holds" your registration, similar to making a reservation at a hotel). Your card will not be charged until a week or so before the event.  If you need to cancel from the event, you must do so on-line in your account.  No other forms of cancellation will be accepted.
