Miller's is having its Season Opener this weekend and, as such, there are some special rules that they are requiring for this even due to the number of people and participants that will be on the site Sat and Sun.
After registering, all cars are to exit the facility back to Sheep Lane and enter Midway through the South Gate.
Miller is concerned that the EMT driver did not get a lunch break last event, so, we are going to adhere to the following schedule.
7:30 Registration Opens
8:30 Registration Closes
8:00 - 8:30 Tech Opens
8:30 - 9:30 Course Open For Walking
9:30 Course closed
9:35 Driver Meeting
10:00 First Car Out
12:30 - 1:30 Lunch
1:30 Afternoon Session
5:00 Event Ends
Obviously, this is the intended schedule, but I hope we don't have to vary from it very much. As such, all that are attending need to get their cars teched and be ready to get to grid immediately after the drivers' meeting. Be on time for Registration to get a wrist band. Miller will be charging entrance fees on Sunday. We will be doing Registration on Sunday also, so if your late and need a wrist band later in the day, you may have to pay an entrance fee for all individuals in your car at the front gate.
Ace Cafe cafe and the Club House will be open for lunch on both Sat and Sun.
I want to make sure that every thing goes according to plan as I don't want to jeopardize our relationship with Miller.
I am having difficulty with RMR at this time and they won't commit to any dates for the use of their facility. SO, THE RACE AT RMR ON MAY 4 IS CANCELLED. I was going to try to find another site, but Miller also cancelled dates in May which I am trying to fill at this time with other venues.
Event requirements
A Valid drivers licence is required to race. Learners permits are allowed following Utah State Laws.
SCCA Membership is required. You may purchase a yearly membership through the SCCA or click 'CONTINUE' to purchase a weekend membership.
Helmets are required. If you don't have a helmet meeting one of the following standards, loaner helmets are available:
Helmet Requirments
You car must pass a basic safety/tech inspection. Make sure your battery is secured, brake pedal is firm, throttle moves freely, and car is empty of any loose objects, including the spare tire, subwoofers, amps, ect ect.
