We are ready to kick off the 2016 season with you! We strive to provide unique opportunities for people to come together and enjoy community, camaraderie and competition. The UKC and Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC) are working together in an effort to make your experience as consistent as possible with what you were used to last year. Here is what your first race will look like:
IceBreaker Round 1
Track layout: OuterLoop (CW)
Event format: Qualifying (Practice; Qualifying; Pre-final; Final)
Planned lap counts:
- Rotax Micro/Mini & all 4-cycle: 8 min Qualifying - 8 lap Pre-final - 12 lap Final
- Rotax Jr./Sr. & all Shifter: 8 min Qualifying - 10 lap pre-final - 16 lap Final
Kid Kart track: West (CW)
Event requirements
Remember, it is the competitor's responsibility to know and understand the UKC Rule Book, all safety and technical requirements for their age group and race class. You can find the 2016 Rule Book through the below link.
