UBCSCC - TSD Road Rally & BBQ July 27th, 2014
We would like to present the opportunity to test yourself and friends in a different kind of driving challenge. A TSD, also known as Time Speed Distance rally is set on public roads where the aim of the game is to maintain a precise time and average speeds throughout the course. If you do not wish to drive the course, we also welcome people to enjoy the BBQ afterwards
Each team is limited by the number of seats in the registered vehicle and requires one member to sign up (includied any members who wish to participate).
What Will Happen:
Show up at spanish banks before 4:30
Drive the TSD and score some points
Arrive back at spanish banks
Enjoy BBQ'd food & good company (Approx 5:30pm)
Prizes:
1st - Two Awesome Auto-X events
2nd - An Auto-X event & "Turbo Heart" T-shirt
Best Team Costumes will also be awarded with a prize
Where:
Spanish Banks - 4700 block NW Marine Drive, Vancouver BC (furthest west parking lot)
When:
Sunday, July 27th 4:30pm (Drivers meeting STARTS AT 4:30!)
Event requirements
Whats Required:
- A Vehicle that is road legal and can safely hold at least two people
- UBCSCC Membership for at least one team member ($5 day membership an option)
- One person to sign up with a team name and names of those attending
- $5 for team registration (donations welcome for those who wish to only attend the BBQ)
- Helmets are not required for this event
